Begin with a pre-video discussion and then watch the short videoto check how the ideas compared to the reality - video.

  • Watch a short, powerful 60-second video about a mother raising 10 sons.

  • Follow up (in class or as a homework assignment) with a short documentary on a woman who gave birth at age 53.
    Both videos provide diverse and thought-provoking perspectives on modern motherhood.

🧠 Discussion: Challenging Stereotypes
Explore and discuss common stereotypes about large families or older parents. Use sentence starters like Both..., Similarly..., and In the same way... to encourage comparison and reflective speaking.

🗣️ Vocabulary Boost
Learn and practice vocabulary related to parenting and modern family life:

  • Surrogacy

  • Triplets, etc. Teach & Practice and practice key vocabulary from the videos, such as: Surrogacy, Triplets, etc. Use matching and gap-fills exercises to reinforce the terms.
